The Last Star Fighter: Star Trek

El easter egg ya indentificado en digital press, encontraron la parte para modificar el ejecutable para que aparezca siempre la USS ENTERPRISE, en vez de ser un tema aleatorio:

EASTER EGG: Programmers Gary Stark and Bruce Poehlman admit to putting a few hidden extras in the game, but they don’t recall how to trigger them. One that’s been seen is the Starship Enterprise will sometimes make a brief appearance (by the sun) when recharging. There is a clock timer, and if this timer is $00 or $80 at the right moment of recharging, the Enterprise will appear (picture #1). Unfortunately the timer clocks rather slow (from $00 to $FF) so it's very unlikely you will see this effect without cheating (the odds are 1 in 128), as there doesn’t appear to be a method to either resetting or resetting the timer in the code. The graphics for the Enterprise are stored in the Atari 8-bit version at $3A40-$3A42 (bytes $E7, $12, $1C).

Quiz & Dragons: Capcom Quiz Game

Interesante post en wikipedia sobre el juego de Capcom Quiz & Dragons:

The game's trivia questions include many errors. Many of these are due to the correct answers having changed since the game's release while others are simply errors.

• The question "Who is the lead singer for the band Devo?" does not include the correct answer (Mark Mothersbaugh), but his guitar and keyboard playing brother (Bob Mothersbaugh).

• The question "What are Elroy Jetson's parents names?" misnames Elroy's mother Jane as Judy. This is odd since another question specifically asks for his mother's name and Jane is the right answer.

• The question "When did the original Star Trek series take place" is incorrectly the 34th century, instead of the 23rd.

Bounty Bob Strikes Back!

Este juego nunca le tome mucha atención, pero parece ser uno de esos de culto que cuesta mucho encontrar un original y se escapa su precio a los 200 dólares.

Tiene una opción de ingresar miles de códigos que daban mensajes escondidos (graciosos la mayoria) y otros que hacian modificaciones al juego o incluso la posibilidad de pasar los niveles sin tener que jugarlos.

La segunda parte de Miner 2049, donde tiene un menu de opciones que se puede modificar varios aspectos del juego entre otros ingresar codigos secretos para obtener mensajes escondidos e incluso modificaciones del juego.

Hay varios mensajes que han sido conocidos por años, pero faltaba hacer una búsqueda exhaustiva, donde encontre todos estos nuevos mensajes:

40 - es raro, sale la pantalla de select a veces. es desde cero (recien booteado). It's strange, you can obtain this screen pressing "select", but with this code also can be gotten.
